A fun, little tool.  Claims to be 90% accurate.  Guess we'll find out in September!  :D  Of course...when I asked Kirsty what it said when she did it, it said she'd have a girl...and out came Noah.  LOL  Defiantly not a girl.

I think it's a little early....

But maybe I am wrong.  Is 9 weeks too early to have baby brain?!
I swear...the last week or so I can't seem to remember crap!  Like this for example...the other day at work one table paid me cash.  They handed the presenter to me and said.."all set...thank you."  Regardless of what they say, I always return the change...just in case.  Well this time I put it in my pocket without even looking what was in it.  I got a little busy but noticed they were still sitting there.  I freaked out a little and thought they were waiting for change.  So I reach into my pocket to cash it out and drop change...presenter wasn't there.  Cue major freakout.  After searching thru about 50 check presenters, my co worker came up to me and handed me the check.  Appatently I had left it at the p.o.s. station.   By that time, the guests had gotten up and left. 

Not just that incident.  I have worked for the Grand Lux for almost 2 years.  I couldn't remember a table number to save my life.  Nor would I remember to cash out a check after a guest left and then I would add another order to the check and end up having to get it voided and rang back in.  Good times.  Good times.  My manager kindly reminded me that doing drugs while pregnant was not healthy.

I thought I would have longer before my memory became mush.  Apparently not.

Things have been going pretty much the same the last week or so.  Feel great in the morning...but nights...that's a different story.  Or it was.  The doctor prescribed me Zofran.  This pill is a wonder drug!!  I take one before I head into work and I can make it through the whole night without the ickies!!  Yay! 

I've been sleeping a ton lately.  I don't know if it's the pregnancy or just me being a lazy-ass but I could sleep all day if you let me.  I slept until 2 pm the other day...it was amazing.  Today I delcared "bum day" and haven't left my bed but a few times to rotate laundry and pee.  Which is something I do ALL THE TIME.  I know you wanted to know that.

Well today was the big day.  Doctor Day.  First official appointment!  I dunno what's worse...the having to pee in the teeeny tiny cup, the dreaded weigh in or the waiting in the room for the doctor wearing nothing...I mean NOTHING but a hospital gown...BACKWARDS.   Ok.  I know....I am being over-dramatic.  But guess what.  I'm OFFICIALLY pregnant therefore I can be.  And if you tell me to knock it off, I will cry and then you will feel bad.  So, lets just save my makeup and roll with it.  :D

They say everything looks great so far!  We got to see the heartbeat, which was pretty amazing.  Sorta weird.  There is this little uhh..blob that is chillin' in the uterus that flashes...that's the heart beat.  It was so awesome to see it, after my many fears of not being able to.  They say I am 7 weeks, 5 days and have an EED (estimated eviction date...ha ha ha...I dont' know what it really means but I like my definition) of February 18th, 2012....which just so happens to be my mom's birthday.  How cool would that be?! 

Next appointment is set for the 8th.  I hope we can hear the heartbeat at the next appointment. 

oh..and they prescribed me something for the nausea so I am going to pick that up and give it a whirl.  See if it helps or not.  They also told me I need to up my vitamin d...to 1000 ul a day.  What?  Living in Vegas and I still don't get enough sun?!  Guess you can take the girl out of Washington but you can't take the Washington out of the girl!

Here is the Frightener's first close up.  For those who don't know what you are looking at...here is the rundown.  The dotted line is the Frightener.  The circle above it is the yolk sac which sustains the baby until the placenta forms and takes over.  My friend Kirsty says that she crosses her eyes, she can see a dude in a construction hat with boobs and a twirly mustache!   I really want to sit down with her and some ink blot cards.  LOL

That's right.  Tomorrow.  July 7th.  Our first doctors appointment.  Totally nervous and excited.  I just hope everything goes well.

Been feeling decent the last week or so.  The Frightener seems to like me better when I keep food in my stomach....i like this kid already *lol*

Btw...I peed on a stick again..just to make sure.  *lol*  yup.  Still said pregnant.  Neurotic...I know.  Lol
